Friends on the Interweb/ Sites to Know
My homie, Jay, creates beautiful, modern, dope, fresh, amazingly unique and exquisite art. Also a Cambridge resident, so you can see big tings a gwan. He uses different firearms in his creation, literally shoots fresh, wet ceramics and delicately drives them back to the city studio for glazing and firing. Check him out and email him for pricing, questions, props. holler…
Mayoral homie, Bob Williams, is the brain behind this one. Bob is a great writer. I love his stuff. His voice is sick and he’s going to be making power moves in the very near future. If you’re into words and good writing, check this out. Chuch.
Check out this site from my pal and co-collaborator on a few projects, Tim O’Donnell. We worked together on his short film “George: Wrestling with Resistance”, he created the film and I provided music. The homie is an incredibly talented visual artist, currently focusing on film and video work. He brought his film, “George”, to the Roxbury Film Festival. Check him out and appreciate good fine art. Side note: he also does wedding videos, check his site, I Do Wedding Videos.
My homie, Vince aka Cenzo, writes for this blog and it’s funny as hell. Vince has impeccable taste in music, an honor I DO NOT just hand out. Peep this blog, you’ll enjoy.
Here is a great new site from a good friend of mine/completely brilliant comp sci guru/software engineer, Nirvana Tikku. TubeLoop answers some problems that us music lovers have when it comes to sharing mixes in the digital age. It’s a really amazing platform to play music on whether in the office, hosting a party, or just chillin out. TubeLoop uses an integration with Facebook so you can:
-Make and share loops of your favorite YouTube videos.
-Pull video’s you’ve posted to your Facebook wall straight into a loop in TubeLoop.
-Pull video’s your friends have posted to their Facebook walls into loops.
-Share loops you’ve created on TubeLoop on your Facebook wall.
