Flo gives us this awesome cover of The Talking Heads, Wild Wild Life to announce her appearance at Bestival 2012. I love how they’re dressed as animals but act very seriously.
by Kanye West featuring Vega Choir - Urban Noize Remix
Damn this is a phenomenal mashup. Production duo/brothers, Urban Noize, mashup Kanye’s verse from Drake’s “Forever” and vocals from Vega Choir’s cover of Radiohead’s “Creep”. The result is this beautiful piece of music. Enjoy.

So What Cha Want - Beastie Boys - The Record Company cover - Click to download.
LA based, The Record Company, does their bluesy rendition/tribute of So What Cha Want in honor of Adam Yauch’s (MCA) recent passing. It’s a horrible tragedy that the universe has taken this musician from us. But his life and life’s work are now being celebrated. It’s sad that it takes one’s passing to realize what a true talent and amazing person we had. Heaven just got one more great talent… RIP MCA 1964-2012
by Jack White
I missed this cover the first time around, but am very glad I caught it. Jack White covers U2’s Love is Blindness. It’s amazing. You can feel Jack’s passion on this one as he belts out the lyrics. Enjoy.
by Willie Nelson
The Scientist - Willie Nelson - Coldplay cover - Click to download.
Folk/country music legend Willie Nelson covers Coldplay’s The Scientist… and it’s great. I hope the fact that this was used in a burrito commercial doesn’t make you all as hungry as I now am… Dig it.

Big Spender - Theophilus London & ASAP Rocky - Right Click/Save Link As to download.
OK. So, I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted Theo London. The reason for that is the Boston crowd was dissed by him claiming to be sick and skipping a show in Boston but then posting pictures of himself crowd surfing. This is a major neesh neesh (wags fingers). If his bullshit excuse was true, then I’d think he’d do a make up show asap (no pun). Anyhow, not one to hold a grudge, I’m letting this go. But you better do one hell of a great show next time around homie. Enjoy this cool cover/remix.

BTSTU - Niia - Jai Paul Cover - Click to download
Though we have no new music from the crusher of last year, Jai Paul, we’re offered up this interesting cover from beautiful songstress, Niia. Originally posted to Soundcloud about 8 months ago, this song finally found me. Niia was born and raised in Needham, MA. WOOO here we go Mass! After high school she moved to NYC and met Wyclef who was understandably wowed by her. They did a song together “Sweetest Girl” which went Platinum. She then split from Clef and now we’re waiting on a new album from her allegedly to drop sometime in 2012…
This is Rivers Cuomo (of Weezer) covering The Beach Boys “God Only Knows”. Jammer. Had to re-up this vid. Enjoy.
by Yelawolf
Yelawolf takes on a classic Wu Tang cut, Can it Be All So Simple. The ‘Bama native puts a cool spin on it, making it his own and really impressing on the mic. Enjoy.
by Ellie Goulding - Elton John cover - Remix by Butch Clancy
Wowzers. This is that banger you were looking for. Ellie Goulding covering Sir Elton John’s “Your Song” being remixed by Detroit’s Butch Clancy with some hard ass dubstep wubs and womps in the midst. BC takes a really chill, beautiful song and punches it up, in parts, to further emphasize some great chord progressions. Dig.
by Smiler & Lana Del Rey
That’s right a NEW (to me and likely you) track from Ms Lana Del Rey. This pouty bombshell was apparently recording Born to Die in a studio next to UK rapper Smiler. Smiler invited her in to sing the vocals on the Shirley Bassey cover of Big Spender. The result is this banger that’s going to be on Smiler’s new album. Dig.
Leeni aka Prom Queen (see below) hails from Seattle and has got me. She writes, produces, engineers and performs her own songs. She makes chiptune songs. This remix was done using two Gameboys and actual video game music. There’s a video of this track with video game scenes from the Barbie video game. Lana Del Rey meet Leeni, she’s got skills kid.
