The Hood Internet brings us another awesome mashup, though admittedly I prefer the Santigold original. Dig it.

God From The Machine - Santigold - Right Click/Save Link As to download.
City Hall is as thrilled as ever for a brand new Santigold album. The young artist has piqued my interest. She’s badass and incredibly musical. Her songs sound really good. Her sound a sonic melange of styles from electro to punk, from hip hop to pop. Critics really don’t know what to make of Santigold, she can’t be put in a category. ..And i love it. Don’t over think or try to compartmentalize music, just listen and enjoy and let it be what it is.

album Master of the Make Believe
New joint from Santigold’s forthcoming album “Master of the Make Believe”. This is a banger. I love it. Drenched in summertime vibes and amazing reggae feel. It’s an amazing melange (like that word?) of good music. Enjoy.

I’m tremendously excited about today’s post. It’s straight fire and nothing less. Enjoy.
Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win - Beastie Boys & Santigold - This shit BANGS. Damn makes me so excited for summer, beautiful scenery and frosty beverages all while snuggly behind the protection of some shades. Ooohwee. Also notable is how any song Santigold is on becomes her song. She’s such a musical force on any song, it’s amazing. Be sure to pre-order the new beastie boys joint here.
If You Want Too - StartYourOwnRebellion - (via mostlyjunkfood.com) StartYourOwnRebellion is awesome. They recently signed to J. Cole’s label and put out the mixtape, LP3020 which you can download for free, here.
How Do You Sleep - Recess feat Blu - Saw this a mostlyjunkfood also. It’s a heater. One of my top emcee’s, Blu, is featured on this Recess track that is just awesome. I don’t know how to call this band or the sound. It’s just great.

Today is a lovely day in Boston. I would prefer it being warmer, but suns out and that’ll do… Also, it’s Friday. So here are some tracks to send you off for the weekend. Enjoy.
Go - Santigold featuring Karen O - Caught this track at mostlyjunkfood. It features Santigold, Nick Zinner & Karen O(pic above) of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Q-Tip and Switch(Major Lazer). This is a ridiculous hodge podge of musical talent.
Pumped Up Kicks - Jacob Es - Foster The People - Also from mjf.com, this song rocks. Boston’s very own, Jacob Es, takes this Foster The People banger and puts some raps to it. Check it out.
1975 - Zeds Dead - This track is amazing. Dark, almost scary sounding melody over a deep ominous bassline. Zeds Dead of Toronto, f’in rocks.

It’s the start to a new week. That means a fresh batch of new jams for the massive. Without further ado…
Gifted - N.A.S.A. - feat Kanye West, Santigold, Lykke Li - Masuka Remix - This is a dubstep remix of a jammer.
Rude Boy - Brynjar & Afrokid - Zeds Dead - Zeds Dead does some amazing remixes. This is no exception. Respeck.
Ungirthed - Purity Ring - Purity Ring is a really cool band that makes music with a unique sound. They use hip-hop style chops over some cool rhythms. The vocals are done well and eloquently complement the track. Enjoy.
